The Quality Growth Alliance (QGA) has launched a new program recognizing pre-entitlement development projects that contribute to smart growth, such as developments in walkable neighborhoods, and close to transit and employment centers.
Quality Growth Alliance officials said yesterday they have picked the first proposed projects in the Puget Sound area
to be recognized for promoting sustainable growth.
Where exactly did each of the 30 Reality Check tables place people and jobs? And how did they score on greenhouse gas emissions? Detailed table analyses are available.
What is unique about the Quality Growth Alliance? Before the April 2008 Reality Check event, the eight partner organizations from ULI Seattle, PSRC, University of Washington, Enterprise Community Partners, CLC, MBAKS, Futurewise, and NAIOP —often held diverging views on land use issues.
